Philip Lauder MRCVS

Clinical Director

Phil started working at our Daleside and Formby branches in August 2016 and qualified from Liverpool University in 2005. Phil enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and especially orthopaedic surgery and now performs Cruciate surgeries (TTA's and Lateral Sutures) at our Birkdale Surgery.


John Parker MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

John qualified from Liverpool University in 1985 and joined the practice in 1994. He is a keen follower and season ticket holder of St Helens Rugby League Club and enjoys walking. He lives locally with his family, 2 dogs and 2 cats. John works at our Birkdale and Churchtown Branches.


Laura Shawcross MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Laura qualified from Liverpool University in 2007. Laura works at our Daleside and Churchtown branches.


Stuart Goodier MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Stuart qualified from Liverpool University in 1993. Stuart supports Liverpool Football Club. Stuart rejoined our practice in January 2015 and works at our Daleside and Churchtown branch.


Victoria Carbery MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Vicky qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in 2012, since then she has worked at the RSPCA hospital in Manchester and a practice in Staffordshire. She has a special interest in all aspects of medicine and ultrasonography. In her spare time she enjoys baking, which all members of the team appreciate! Vicky joined our practice in January 2016 and works at Daleside, Formby and Maghull branches.


Sara Creech MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Sara works at our Daleside, Formby and Maghull Branches and joined our practice in January 2016. Sara first joined our practice as a saturday assistant back in 1999, until leaving for Vet School in 2003. Following graduation, Sara worked in a Liverpool - based group of practices, where she started studying towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (certAVP) with the University of Liverpool. Sara rejoined our practice in 2016 and was pleased to see the many familiar faces still working in the veterinary team! Sara enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly complex medical cases and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time she enjoys working with, and rehabilitating shelter animals and wildlife.


Trish Tinsley

Practice Manager

Trish has been a registered "human" nurse since 1985 and started working at the Formby and Maghull surgeries in 2001. . She likes yoga,cooking, gardening and up until recently was the coach and secretary of Formby Netball Club. Trish is a fan of Liverpool Football Club and Formula 1.


Helen Wright RVN

Nursing Manager

Helen joined the practice in 1994 and qualified as a Vet Nurse in 1997.


Vicky Flude RVN

Head Nurse

Vicky qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2000 and has worked for Parker and Crowther since 2002. Vicky is married and has two young sons. She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Neville and two tortoises called Mr and Mrs T. When Vicky is not working she likes to enjoy time with her boys, baking, sewing, crafts and family days out.


Clare Cartwright RVN BSc

Head Nurse

Clare has over 16 years experience working within a veterinary practice and qualified in 2008.She has been working in our Formby branch since 2008. She holds a BSc Degree in Veterinary Nursing and is also a Pet Health Counsellor for Royal Canin. She has 2 Patterdale Terriers called Timmy and Holly, two cats called Tiggs and Ruby and tropical fish. Clare enjoys socialising with her family and friends.


Sarah Rule RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Sarah has worked at Parker and Crowther for over 10 years and lives in Crosby. She has many dogs and cats. Sarah works mainly at the Birkdale branch. She is married and enjoys walking in the lakes, music and films.


Fiona Parker RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Fiona started her training January 2012 and qualifed as a Veterinary Nurse in 2014. Fiona works at all four of our surgeries. Fiona has 3 children,2 dogs, 4 cats and 2 fish. Fiona also has a keen interest in gymnastics, art and is an avid rugby league fan (St Helens being her team). She also enjoying gardening, cooking, walking and spending time with family and friends.


Kathryn Rice RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Kathryn started working for Parker and Crowther in September 2012 and has been a qualified RVN for over 11 years. She has a cat called Daisy and her boyfriend, Gary (in that order!). Kathryn loves to knit, paint and watch murder mysteries.

Natalie Gregory

Trainee Nurse

Natalie started working for Parker and Crowther in May 2011 and started her Veterinary Nurse training in September 2012. She has 1 dog a Lhasa Apso called Marvin, Mr Boo, Master M Boo and Marvies!! "Any name he responds too, he's a clever dog..maybe too clever for his own good". Nat likes socialising with her friends, going to concerts and festivals, swimming, travelling and of course spending time with her Mr.Boo!


Kat Gibbs

Trainee Nurse

Kat graduated from John Moores University in 2009 with a degree in Animal Behaviour and started her vet nurse training in September 2016. She has two dogs Dylan and Kimba, and two cats (sister and brother) Becks and Bud. Kat enjoys spending time outdoors and going on long dog walks.


Ashley Pounder

Trainee Nurse

Ashley started in June 2015 and started her Vet Nurse Training in January 2017 and aims to start her Veterinary nursing course by 2017. I have two little Dachshunds called dudley and Stan, three cats, five rabbits, and a variety of tarantulas and scorpions. Ashley likes shopping and going to comic conventions. Ashley also has qualifiactions in animal care and management and has trained to work with dangerous exotics animals such as crocodiles and venomous snakes. Ashley also has qualifications in dog grooming which she has applied in practice quite well and enjoy grooming cats and bunnies when the opportunity arises. Ashleys hobbies include art, conventions and horror films.


Rachael Duxbury

Trainee Nurse

Rachael is studying the degree in Veterinary Nursing and started this is September 2016. Rachael is heavily intrested in exotics and is hoping to travel abroad to work with exotic animals once my degree is complete. Rachael also rock climbs in her spare time.


Heather Ashbolt

Receptionist

Heather has worked for Parker and Crowther since 1991 in the role of Pet Health Counsellor / receptionist at the Daleside Surgery. She graduated from The University of Kent and lives locally with her jack russels, 2 cats, parakeets, ducks and chickens.


Debbie Jackson

Receptionist

Debbie has worked as a veterinary assistant on and off for over 21 years in between having 3 children. Debbie works between our Maghull, Formby and Birkdale Surgeries. She also works as a dog walker and pet sitter. She has many animals, a cat Thomas, and her Foxred Labradors called Flo and her sons Patrick and Gunner, and Kelsie the German Wired Haired Pointer. Debbie enjoys mountain biking/climbing and enjoys long walks on a daily basis. Her hobby is training her labradors to do scurries and field trials.


Karen Spencer

Receptionist

Karen works at our Daleside and Churchtown surgeries as a receptionist. She has 3 dogs, 3 cats and 6 hens. In her spare time she likes to walk her dogs and go to the gym.


Holly Kirkham

Receptionist

Holly started working at our Formby surgery in 2008. She has a Foundation Degree in Animal Welfare (Nursing) from Myerscough College. She keeps Chickens, rare breed Turkeys, one duck named Bob and Annie, Mable and Meg the Tortoises. When she is not at work Holly likes to help around her parents garden nursery.


Helen Carmichael

Receptionist

Helen works at our Maghull surgery on reception. She likes to read, ride her bike, go to concerts, spend time with her family and surf the net. Helen has two British Short Haired cats called Bobbie and Dottie and a Cavashon called Pepper.
