Our Charity Work

  • Valley (Web) 176

Between the 4 branches of Parker and Crowther we work with numerous local charities both small independents and large national charities. Working with the local community and assisting charities is one of our core values. Our branches always have collection tins available to make monetary donations.

Many for our veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses give their own time to volunteer both in the UK and abroad (including https://www.cleanfutures.org/ and https://www.skiathos-cats.org/)

Please find links below to some of the charities our branches work with, there are always lots of animals of all species looking for new homes.

Donations are always gratefully received.

Some of our team have swapped caring for animals (temporarily) to caring for our environment, by litter picking on Formby beach in May 2026!

Not only does litter endanger wildlife and ecosystems, it also poses a risk to our pets if ingested. A day off well spent!  Please remember to take your rubbish home, and keep our community tidy.

National Volunteers Week

At the beginning of June it was National Volunteers Week – a time to celebrate the incredible people who give their time, skills and compassion to support charities, community groups and worthy causes.

It’s also a great opportunity to consider volunteering yourself, whether in your local community or further afield.
At VetPartners, they know volunteering matters to their colleagues. That’s why every team member receives a volunteering day each year, and why we offer vets and RVNs the opportunity to apply for funding to volunteer overseas.

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on nurses Fiona and Elle from our Maghull branch, who used their volunteering day to support a large-scale community initiative with Warrington Animal Welfare.
